Happy Holidays everyone. It’s hard to believe that Christmas is just a few days away. I’ve been loving all the beautiful holiday home tours and Christmas decorations on blog world. It’s like magic everyday. The creativity and imagination in this world is amazing. I especially love how everyone wants to celebrate and share the beauty of this Christmas season. Our church has been decorated with Christmas trees and poinsettias and the choir has been sharing Christmas carols and it’s the most wonderful time of the year. Even the cold weather here in North Texas ~ “oh, the weather outside is frightful and, my dear, it’s so delightful” has brought out sweaters and coats and gloves. We’ve lit the fire and the Christmas decorations have taken on a shiny, sparkling life. I started reading The Shack a week ago and if you want a story to convince you of God’s love and the redemption in Jesus Christ, you should read this one. That’s my Christmas present to you. And as your hostess these week, I want to share Your Inspired Design Link Party #66, the last one of the year, and wish you and your family a Christmas full of joy and love, wonderment and peace, from Holly, Diane and me. We have so enjoyed our relationship this year and look forward to a continued party in 2017. May the blessings of peace and prosperity, fulfillment and hope, be with us all in the new year.
So here are my favorite party guests and their contributions from last week. We will see you in 2 weeks after a week off with family and friends.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
First of all, I have to tell that it was really hard to pick just a few favorites this week. I finally went with simple, but useful and printable.
First, I love spray paint and what I call “random acts of DIY”, those projects that you don’t even intend to make, but just somehow come together and turn out to be your favorites. Lynn at Nourish and Nestle created 2 such items for Christmas decor that could be used all year long.
Who doesn’t need a little help staying organized during the holidays? Whether planning a dinner party or trying to keep your gift list straight, Susan at Crafting A Home, has made the cutest printables for you.
We all love pretty packages tied up in bows, but really good wrapping paper is expensive. Sarah at Sadie’s Seasongoods shared some really creative ways to wrap presents using repurposed materials and a quick DIY to make your own original bags.
We will be back January 5th to party.
Now it’s time to get going for this week’s party. Let’s see what you’ve been up to lately!
