Welcome to our first link party in June. For everyone new to Diane + Dean DIY, every Thursday morning there are a group of us DIY Home and Garden bloggers (see who they are at the end of this post) that allow other DIY bloggers to share their own creations on all of our blogs. That way they get more exposure for their hard work and all of our readers combined are exposed to more fabulous ideas. Be sure to bookmark our page as a favorite so you can check back in to see everyone’s submissions and where you are inspired to say “I can do that!” Carol is one of our wonderful bloggers who is hosting this week’s party. She is always cooking up something yummy in her kitchen and I am always inspired by her southern hospitality. Thank you, Carol!
After a fabulous trip to Savannah, Charleston and Asheville (which I’ll be sharing), we are home and ready to enjoy our garden ~ some of the tomatoes and peppers are ready to harvest and enjoy awesome summer cooking. I’ll be cooking Southern and sharing great recipes over the next few months. We’ve had abundant rain so our flowers are just beautiful.
We’re ready for new projects, new home decor, and new recipes for you to share or to enjoy.
May your summer be full of fun, safe travels, new experiences, and great things to eat. I’m excited to be your hostess this week. I’ve selected some amazing projects from last weeks’ contributions that will inspire you. These projects are not only pretty, but useful and serve a purpose. A trifecta of DIY happiness.
Tammy from onemoretimeevents shared her beautiful farmhouse headboard project. I think she should market it or sell the rights to Joanna Gaines at Magnolia. It’s that cool and pretty.
The repurposed lamp shade project form Sarah at sadieseasongoods was so creative and turned out so cute that I had to give her a round of applause.
Christine at littlebrags created an awesome DIY project for her front porch (I don’t have a front porch, so I’m jealous.) that I just loved for its practicality and beauty. A pulley, a basket, some candles. I promise it all makes sense.
Be sure to give these ladies a shout~out and let them know how wonderful they are.
We think you are all wonderful. Keep those link~ups coming and share with your best blogger buddies and readers.
